Pretend you are a cheetah
Zooming through the darkness
Stopping going stopping going
Pouncing on prey
Eating swallowing eating
Never sleep
Still going
Always going
Always looking for prey
Going in total darkness
Boom gone.
(This was my winning poem. Six out of the whole 4th grade were published in Poetry In Performance #37.)
